Materials catalogue
A reference of 3D printing materials that makers on nozzlo work with.
PLA
The easiest to print. Good for prototypes and decor, dislikes heat.
PETG
Tougher than PLA and not afraid of moisture. A good compromise for everyday parts.
ABS
Handles heat and finishes well. Needs an enclosed printer.
ASA
Like ABS but doesn't fade in the sun. For outdoor parts.
TPU
Flexible like rubber. Gaskets, cases, dampers.
Nylon (PA)
Very strong and wear-resistant. Gears, brackets, moving parts.
PC
Polycarbonate: the strongest of the common ones, handles high temperatures.
Standard resin
The finest detail. Brittle — not for load-bearing parts.
Tough resin
Resin detail, but it doesn't shatter on impact.
PA12 powder
For SLS: strong functional parts with no supports.
